Camp Season: 2005-01-01 to 2005-12-31
Sessions:
S.A.L.T (Summer Adventure Leadership Training)
SALT is designed to challenge Christian high school students who want to grow in their leadership abilities, improve their outdoor skills, and enhance their relationship with God.
Our desire for this three week program is that each participant will grow spiritually and personally through leadership training opportunities, learning practical wilderness skills, and service projects. This will be accomplished by examining our Christian faith through group Bible study, discussions, and practical service in the community of Nordegg.
Learning more about our own abilities with opportunities to work individually and as a team will enhance the leadership skills training process. Outdoor skills will be learned and practiced on day trips and extended out trips. You will be challenged mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Attending S.A.L.T. is also great training for those who may want to join the Frontier Lodge staff team in the future. Enrollment is limited to twelve participants. There is an application process for entrance into the program (SALT Application.doc) .
