The Academy by the Sea's academic summer session offers a coeducational program that balances academics and recreation for a fulfilling experience. Designed especially for students in grades 7-10, the academic program helps students prepare for their upcoming school year and for the academic experiences that lie ahead in secondary education. Small class sizes, enhanced study skills and individualized teacher attention provide for an exceptional educational experience. The Academy offers a variety of subjects from which to choose and credit classes are available. Afternoon activities, special events, and weekend excursions allow each student the opportunity to take a break from scholastic responsibilities and experience lasting friendships. Students attending the academic session share a common desire to spend time improving their study skills, strengthening their educational backgrounds, and having fun.
