Description:

Rawhide Ranch, a Southern California tradition since 1963, is famous for providing campers & staff from all over the world with a taste of the ranch life.  The camp is located in North San Diego County near the village of Fallbrook.

During the week's session, campers have a daily western riding lesson, daily vaulting lesson (gymnastics on horseback), animal care time, animal & horse science class each day as well has the opportunity to select from the day's list of elective options (i.e. swimming, crafts, country line dance lessons, creative writing, drama, archery, swimming/water slide, climbing tower, intro to rodeo, farm life, harnessing pony carts, etc.) Fun and exciting vening activities are also planned  for the whole camp to enjoy (i.e. campfires, various camp-wide games such as Capture the Flag, skit night, cabin talent night, etc.).  Our riding & vaulting program is geared for beginning and intermediate riders.

Overnight, co-ed program,  Ages 7-15.  2012 Summer Camp June 17- August 18. One week or multiple week sessions available.  $895 per weekly session.

When campers arrive to begin their summer camp adventure, families will be greeted by a host of new sights and sounds to welcome you to Rawhide Ranch. As you help your camper get settled in there will be plenty of time to meet your child’s counselor and explore the ranch together before you say your goodbyes.  The days will fly by and before you know it the Grand Entry music will be playing to welcome the families back to the ranch for the closing day festivities.

A summer horse camp experience will provide a lifetime of memories along with a new sense of independence, accomplishment, and pride as new skills are learned, new friendships are made, and a chance to joy a slower pace of life.
